DataQuest DataQuest is an online data tool located on the CDE DataQuest Web page at http://dq.cde.ca.gov/dataquest/ that contains additional information about this school and comparisons of the school to the district, the county, and the state. Specifically, DataQuest is a dynamic system that provides reports for accountability (e.g. Academic Performance Index [API], Adequate Yearly Progress [AYP], test data, enrollment, graduates, dropouts, course enrollments, staffing, and data regarding English learners. |

Internet Access Internet access is available at public libraries and other locations that are publicly accessible (e.g., the California State Library). Access to the Internet at libraries and public locations is generally provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Other use restrictions include the hours of operation, the length of time that a workstation may be used (depending on availability), the types of software programs available on a workstation, and the ability to print documents. |

This section provides information about the school, its programs and its goals.
RISE Institute founded in 1986 provides Special Education services to students from K-12 who require NON public school setting. RISE provides intensive services for students with LD, SED, and CI disabilities. Workability also is a key component which helps with job readiness and work skills. RISE Institute’s mission is to return students to the public sector so they may successfully participate in Public school programs. RISE is able to provide high school credits for graduation either with certificate of completion or diploma. |
This section provides information about opportunities for parents to become involved with school activities.
Parents/Guardians are required to participate in weekly meeting the first month of placement to review student progress. Additionally, parents are welcome to schedule meetings as they feel necessary and are invited to make surprise visits to check on student progress. Parents will have daily or weekly phone contact as needed. IEPs are scheduled annually and may be conveniened at any time per parent/guardian request. |
